Board of Directors

k-linda-peterThis Foundation honors the beautiful life of Kaeli Kramer. It is a living tribute to the good that was within her and which is in all of us. The Foundation will carry out the work which Kaeli started, and will support the causes about which she cared so deeply. The Foundation was started by Kaeli’s parents, Linda and Peter Kramer, who shared Kaeli’s love for animals, and have supported other animal welfare interests for many years.

Linda Kramer
Linda Kramer is co- founder and President of the Kaeli Kramer Foundation. She is a lifelong equestrian who has volunteered in many animal welfare causes, including therapeutic riding and shelter work. She is a New York state certified special education teacher who worked for over 15 years in Long Island private and public schools. In addition, she is an attorney whose practice includes matrimonial, mediation, real estate and corporate law.

Peter Kramer
Peter Kramer is co- founder and Vice President of the Kaeli Kramer Foundation. He operates a business and management consulting firm. He presently serves on the board of the Foundation for Long Island State Parks and has served as Chairman of the Long Island State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Commission . He is also an advisor to Metro New York Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

donna

Donna Cabble
Donna Cabble is Secretary and director the Foundation’s thriving Life Skills and Humane Education Programs on Long Island. Donna’s dedication to charitable causes runs the gamut from breast cancer research and suicide prevention to any and all animal rights causes. She and her dog Bella work as certified pet therapy providers at a local nursing home. When not working at her career as a medical records coding and compliance consultant for Long Island’s largest hospitals, she likely is engaged in some form of selfless service to a good cause.

Arielle Lubin
Dr. Arielle Lubin, Kaeli’s closest friend from kindergarten is a small-animal veterinarian working in the NYC area. After receiving her degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from MIT, Arielle studied at the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. There, she spent her free time volunteering with PAWS For People (a pet therapy organization), teaching animal science to Worcester middle school students, and providing medical services with the Tufts Community Cat Spay and Neuter Clinic. From there, she returned to Brooklyn, where she completed a year-long small animal rotating medicine and surgery internship. She has since enjoyed working with a variety of general practices (in-person and over TeleHealth), and is especially passionate about community and shelter medicine, and about making visits as stress-free as possible for pets and owners. Dr, Lubin also adores baking extensively, playing violin and piano, and even performs with a doctors’ orchestra. She lives with her sociable senior cats, Amadeus and Glia.
