Our Humane Education students are volunteering at the Golden Paw Society, a wonderful cat rescue located in Huntington, NY. The cats live in a homelike environment where they are free to roam and play with each other while awaiting placements with forever families. At the Golden Paw Society Rescue the students cleaned and fed all the resident cats and spent quality time grooming and playing with the appreciative felines. By the time the volunteers were ready to leave, every cat was napping or resting peacefully after having spent a lively day with their human friends!
