Just like people, horses need to visit the dentist. For many horses, especially seniors, it is an absolute necessity. Infected and rotting teeth can cause systemic infections. Most of our horses, several who are elderly, require dental care in order to chew their food properly. This insures that they obtain the maximum amount of nutrients from their food and maintain a healthy body weight.
