Thank You to All of our Help a Horse Day Supporters

April showers did not dampen the spirits of old and new supporters who came together to participate in our Race for the Rescues and Help A Horse Day Family Celebration on Saturday April 23.

The Race began at the home of wild mustang ambassadors Callie and Valor. Deputy Town Supervisor Mr. Steve Tricarico kicked off the 5K! We ran and walked for healing, for the Earth and its animals- especially the horses.

Throughout the day, both young and old had the opportunity to learn about the history and heritage of America’s wild horses through hands on encounters with Callie and Valor. Our aim is to instill in people a passion and love for the horses and the wildlife who inhabit our public lands which are in dire need of protection.

There were family friendly activities including natural horsemanship demonstrations, a scavenger hunt through the animal preserve, Earth Day flower plantings, a Rally for the Rescues puppet show, face painting and animal themed arts and crafts.

A heart full of gratitude, to our amazing supporters and volunteers who made our Help A Horse Day celebration an extraordinary event. You make the Kaeli Kramer Foundation a place of kindness and healing for both people and animals.

Thank you to all who came out in the rain and participated with great enthusiasm and generosity. A huge thanks to everyone from Colorado to Florida to Pennsylvania who so generously participated in our first virtual Peace Walk for the Animals and other “virtual” events.

Thank you to our friends at the Holtsville Ecology Site, especially the Hon. Dan Losquadro and his most gracious and outstanding staff. ‪
