WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP
- Contact your Representative in the House, by going to www.house.gov. Ask your Congressional Representative. to support legislation to ban the slaughter of horses for human consumption in the US and prohibit transporting them to other countries for the purpose of slaughter.
- Contact your US Senators by going to www.senate.gov Urge them to introduce legislation that would ban any equine from your state from being shipped out of state for the purpose of slaughter for human consumption.
- Write letters to the editors of your local newspapers and to national magazines to raise awareness about horse slaughter
