A Birthday Celebration To Help Others

Kaeli’s good friend from high school, Phillip Scott, and his mother, Tywana Williams, celebrated their birthdays by giving a “Party with a Purpose.” In lieu of gifts guests were invited to donate to Kaeli’s Foundation or the Red Cross. A beautiful party was held on March 6th at the Chateaubriand in Westbury, and the many guests contributed generously. It was wonderful to see so many kind and warm people, many of whom were strangers to us, coming to celebrate and help others! At The Knox School Kaeli and Phillip were the joint recipients of the Stewart Bowl, awarded yearly to the senior who exemplifies cheerful, unobtrusive and unselfish service to others. Phillip is continuing his studies at Five Towns College where he is pursuing his passion majoring in broadcast journalism. We wish him every success.
