Town of Brookhaven- Holtsville Wildlife and Ecology Center

Two of our baby mustangs will soon be moving to their new home at the Holtsville Wildlife and Ecology Center on Long Island. This beautiful facility is operated by the Town of Brookhaven. We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to John H. Rouse, Highway Superintendent and his wonderful staff, April Perry, Kellei Burke, Frank Cruz, Rich Leute, and George Perry for embracing this project. Their professionalism, enthusiasm and creativity will result in the region’s first educational program focusing on the history and plight of America’s Mustang horses.

Highway Superintendent John H. Rouse has been enormously helpful in raising private funds to support this ambitious project and we are grateful for all his efforts.
